Dr. Sarath Guttikunda and collaborators at UrbanEmissions.info have launched a new website- IndiaAirQuality.info where daily updates on air quality are provided for 640 districts across India. The modelling simulations are at a temporal resolution of 1 hour and spatial resolution of 0.25 x 0.25 degrees (~25 km 25 km).
“Modeled 24-hr (daily) average ambient concentrations are simulated for the next 72-hours, using meteorology processed through 3D-WRF meteorological model and the GFS meteorological fields and the concentrations are simulated through the CAMx chemical transport modeling system.”
