The next time you blame a farmer in Punjab, remember he and his family are breathing in the smoke before you do. The next time you lament the security guard burning bits and bobs to keep himself warm at night, remember that he doesn’t have the luxury to stay warm in a room with an electric heater and a comforter. The next time you wonder why people don’t care about air pollution, stop and think about their struggles, and in some cases, their helplessness in dealing with pollution. #airpollution #environmentaljustice
