IS-Global are recruiting a PhD student to join a dynamic team in air pollution and urban environments. The student will develop new research on the health impacts of climate change and urbanization in a rapidly urbanizing population in South India. The project takes advantage of rich health and environmental data available through the Andhra Pradesh Children and Parents Study (apcaps.lshtm.ac.uk) and the CHAI project. This trans-disciplinary project involves collaboration international experts in climate change and development, epidemiology, and health impact assessment. The student will gain skills in quantitative health impact assessment, and manipulating diverse datasets from climate models, remote sensing, and epidemiological studies.
