Report on Positions and Actions on Air Pollution in Indian cities

Climate Trends has compiled a report on the statements and actions from Members of Parliament n the 14 cities listed as the most polluted by WHO in 2018. The report compiles the actions taken in respective cities at national, sub-national and local level, statements by opposition leaders, including corresponding air quality averages in the last 5 years (where available).

Since the 14 most polluted include cities like Varanasi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Muzzaffarpur, Gaya, Delhi, Gurugram and others — it puts spotlight on current air pollution levels, actions plans and status in Parliamentary constituencies of some key Cabinet Ministers, including the Prime Minister.
