In this program, CFA will use its expertise in air pollution awareness and advocacy to introduce individuals to the skills required to understand the air pollution crisis and demand change.
Who Can Be a CFA Clean Air Ambassador?
Students, young professionals, senior citizens… CFA seeks any one who is passionate about fighting India’s air pollution crisis to join this training program. This program is open to a mixed group of participants, because it will take all of us to work together to push for real change.
What is the Clean Air Ambassador Program?
CFA experts have developed a highly interactive program to integrate the facts of air pollution into skills and strategies to demand change. We will not lecture you. You will be learning from us and from one another. Along the way, you will discover and start to use your own skills to improve how you communicate your demands for clean air, and develop strategies to take these demands forward. CFA will start you off with these skills and, post-program, follow up and support you to take the program into your own lives and communities.
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
1) Use critical thinking and knowledge to recognize facts versus misinformation about air pollution and health harm.
2) Learn and practice communication skills to share your concerns about air pollution, in a persuasive manner, with all kinds of audiences.
3) Learn about and develop your own strategies for collective action and policy change, to take forward post-program.
